About Funny Faces
Balloon decor, balloon sculpting, glitter tattoos, caricatures, and face painting. Behind all of it is Tami, and a crew built to bring the fun at any size.
For more than 30 years, Tami has been in the business of brightening people's days, and she has gotten very good at it. That's because she's serious about fun.
Where it started
Tami's path was never an ordinary one. It took its first turn in college, when she landed a job as a balloon sculptor in the Wisconsin Dells and discovered she had a real knack for the artistic side of the work, and found genuine meaning in making someone's day special.
So she went all in: Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, class of 1995, followed by a year touring with the circus alongside some of the best in the business.
Through all of it, one thing stuck with her. Joy means the most when it feels personal, so every design still starts with the people it’s for.
Coming home
Back in Madison, Tami wanted to build something with her own style and her own standards. Funny Faces Children’s Entertainment grew into Funny Faces Family Entertainment, reflecting what she had learned. The best moments reach everyone in the room, whatever their age.
Big and small, often on the same weekend
Today, Tami brightens people's days through large-scale balloon installations, balloon sculpting, caricatures, glitter tattoos, and face painting. It's rare to find all of that under one roof, and rarer still to find it done with this much care. A single pop drop gets the same attention as a stadium full of fans. And when the weather turns or plans change, the crew stays calm and figures it out.
